How-To: CVS

This is still something that I haven't jumped full force into. I personally am not a fan of going to a bunch of different stores to do my shopping. However, I have read so many success stories about how much people have saved at CVS so I really should give it a try. For a long time, I didn't even understand HOW to "do" CVS. I am slowly putting it all together and think I understand the ECBs, etc. I found a couple of great articles that explain the basic ways to get the best deals. If you are a "CVSer" please let me know how well it works for you! I'd love to hear more success stories to get me motivated!

Here are the 2 articles from Money Saving Mom and Homemaker's Resource...maybe they'll help you too!

Hey - I recently found your blog through a blog through a blog (you get the idea). I'm sure the original source had some times to Aggies or Living Hope (I'm class of '04, didn't go to Living Hope, but had alot of friends that did). I've enjoyed your homemaking blog and thought I'd encourage to jump on the CVS bandwagon. I will NEVER pay money for toiletries, paper goods, medicine, etc. again. In 2007 I saved $2800.00 at CVS (a 98% savings) and in 2008 I'm working up to just over $1100 in savings at CVS. So, if you ever have any questions feel free to ask - it can be overwhelming at first - but just start slow and you'll get rolling. I'd be more than happy to share website I've learned from to! Happy homemaking. Laura

Thanks Laura! I've read so many sites (Money Saving Mom, etc) and I get the idea. I think I just feel like I'll have to spend a lot at first or something in order to get any ECBs. I'm sure I'd love it once I got the hang of it. I might be emailing you!
